Danai Liodaki

Danai is an interdisciplinary artist and art manager based in Athens. She holds an MA in
Architecture, a BA in Dramatic Arts and is now finishing her MSc in Cultural Studies, while
managing the FemMap Project, a cultural project for women’s empowerment. She has
worked as an actress and performer in Greece and abroad -including big-scale projects
such as documenta 14. She has also experience in theatrical writing –just published her
first theatrical play- and directing. In 2018 she co-founded the b.p.m.(beats per minute)
theater group and started working on theatrical production. Her research interests are
public art and social theater. A common factor in her work is its social interest and her
vision is to use arts to question social structures and empower oppressed groups.
